What is TerraConnect?
TerraConnect is a platform that connects Saskatchewan landowners with outdoor enthusiasts seeking legal access to private land for activities like target shooting, camping, ATVing, and more. We facilitate secure agreements that protect both parties.
What about hunting?
Paid hunting rights are strictly prohibited by the Saskatchewan Wildlife Act. TerraConnect does not facilitate these types of transactions. Landowners are permitted though to provide free access to hunters. When booking an activity, we provide the land user the opportunity to request such permission. Any such permission is solely granted at the discretion of the landowner.
When will TerraConnect launch?
We're currently in the pre-launch phase, collecting interest from both landowners and land users. Sign up now to be notified when we launch and get early access to the platform.
Is TerraConnect only for Saskatchewan?
Yes, TerraConnect is built specifically for Saskatchewan. We understand the unique needs of Saskatchewan landowners and the province's outdoor recreation landscape, including the 2019 Trespass Act changes.

For Landowners
How much does it cost to list my land?
It's completely free to register and list your land on TerraConnect. We only take a small service fee from completed transactions—you never pay anything upfront.
How do I register my land?
Start by clicking 'Register as Landowner' on our homepage and filling out the signup form. Once you verify your email, you'll be on our waitlist. When TerraConnect fully launches, you'll be able to create detailed listings with maps, photos, pricing, and rules for your property.
Do I maintain control over who accesses my land?
Absolutely. You set the rules, permitted activities, pricing, and availability. You can approve or deny access requests, and you can update your listing at any time.
Can I register only a portion of my land?
Yes! You don't have to register your entire property. When creating a listing, you can specify which areas are available for access and which are off-limits. This is common for landowners who want to keep certain areas private while opening others for recreational use.
What activities can I allow on my land?
TerraConnect supports 15+ activities including target shooting, camping, ATVing, snowmobiling, hiking, birdwatching, photography, horseback riding, foraging, metal detecting, and more. You choose which activities to permit.
Am I protected from liability?
TerraConnect facilitates clear agreements between landowners and land users that outline terms, expectations, and responsibilities. We recommend all landowners review their insurance coverage and consider additional liability protection.
For Land Users
How do I find land to access?
Once TerraConnect launches, you'll be able to browse available properties by region, activity type, and dates. Filter to find exactly what you're looking for.
Is the access I get through TerraConnect legal?
Yes. Saskatchewan's 2019 Trespass Act requires written permission to access private land. TerraConnect provides documented, legal permission through our platform.
How much does access cost?
Pricing is set by individual landowners and varies based on the property, activities, and duration. You can see all pricing before requesting access.
What happens if I damage property or violate rules?
Access agreements include clear terms and expectations. Violations may result in removal from the platform and potential legal action by the landowner. Respect the land and follow all rules.
Safety & Trust
How does TerraConnect verify users?
All users must verify their email address. As we grow, we plan to implement additional verification measures to build trust in the community.
How are payments handled?
All payments are processed securely through our platform. Landowners receive payment after access is confirmed, providing protection for both parties.
What if there is a dispute?
TerraConnect provides clear documentation of all agreements. In case of disputes, we can provide records of the agreed terms and help facilitate communication between parties. For serious issues, we may suspend user accounts pending resolution.
Can I leave feedback or rate my experience?
Yes! Once TerraConnect fully launches, both landowners and land users will be able to rate and review each other after completed visits. This helps build trust in the community and helps others make informed decisions. Reviews are moderated to ensure they're fair and constructive.
